The paper uses time series data of Thailand’s foreign capital flows and examines the nature of volatility of the various types of capital flows. It analyzes econometric factors determining capital inflows and discover their impact on both growth and stability. The quantitative analysis suggests policies that are beneficial for managing Thailand’s capital flows in the future.
